India will have the first of its kind “India Design Centre” in Kolkata - India’s first Semiconductor Design Hub at the Salt Lake, Sector V. IDC will be operational from mid-2009, with world class facility to cover the entire VLSI design spectrum. IDC will not only give a boost to the high end technology and the semiconductor sector but will provide the entire ecosystem for the VLSI industry in one integrated building.
